The story of Rollstar
Rollstar was founded in 1966 and was the first supplier to launch its own hydraulic motors as well as its own planetary gearboxes. This gave rise to the term hydraulic gear motor.
1965
Ziegler AG is developing a plate compactor for road construction.
1966
Founding of Rollstar AG in Zofingen for the production of planetary gears and hydraulic motors.
1975
Relocation of the company to Egliswil.
1993
Certification according to ISO 9001.
2002
The entire company is converted to a process-oriented management system.
2022
Extension of the test bench with a test power of 1 megawatt (1000 kW).
