Rollstar brakes are the perfect complement to motors and gearboxes. They reliably secure loads and can be adjusted to the desired holding torque.
Operating principle
Disc and multi-plate brakes are used wherever movements need to be stopped or held in a controlled manner. The design depends on the application, installation situation, and requirements.
Multi-disc brakes
Spring-applied multi-disc brakes function as safety and holding brakes in a wide variety of drive systems. They are hydraulically released and engage automatically in the event of a pressure drop.
The modular system allows for adaptation to the specific application. The brakes are designed for wet and dry running and feature a steel/sintered bronze friction pairing.

Disc brakes and special solutions
In addition to standard solutions, Rollstar also develops custom brakes. These include, for example, disc brakes between the engine and transmission for dynamic braking.
