Axial piston motor

The AM axial piston motor from Rollstar reliably converts hydraulic energy into rotary motion. It is suitable for applications requiring a compact design, precise control, and stable operation.

Operating principle

Inside, axially arranged pistons operate within a rotating cylinder block. An inclined sliding disc converts the oil pressure into a rotary motion, resulting in smooth running across the entire speed range.

Characteristics

Constant stroke volume

For clearly defined operating conditions

Good start-up behavior

Reliable even at low speeds

High efficiency

Across the entire speed range

Flexible integration

Hollow shaft for gearboxes, brakes or measuring systems

Variable connections

Can be implemented axially or radially

Performance area

The AM engine series covers a wide range of applications:

Torque up to

2335 Nm

Nominal pressure up to

210 bar

Nominal pressure intermittent up to

315 bar

Speed range up to

2700 min⁻¹

Six sizes of

from 79 to 491 cm³

Models

The different sizes allow for a tailored design depending on the application and installation situation.
